Costa Rican’s have always been known for their friendly attitude toward foreigners but what do they think about foreign investment in their country?
Laura Chinchilla, the current president of Costa Rica has traveled to the U.S. to encourage other large companies to join the 200 plus multinational companies that already invested in the country. She visited the New York Stock Exchange, a number of top universities, participated in a forum at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and gave interviews to promote Costa Rica as an international business location.
The message is clear that Costa Rica welcomes U.S. foreign investment and will continue to attract foreign investment due to its excellent geographic location, human capital and political stability.
